Americans owe a great debt of gratitude to those who have sacrificed for our liberty and for the security of our Nation. We express deep appreciation to our veterans -- the men and women who stepped forward when America needed them, triumphed over brutal enemies, liberated continents, and answered the prayers of millions around the globe.

We at the Kirk of the Lakes Presbyterian Church wish to thank and honor those who have served us in our country's military services. We continue to pray for those who currently serve, putting themselves in harm's way to defend our freedoms. We are mindful that the blessings we enjoy, like our freedom to worship Jesus Christ without fear or persecution, have been purchased at the price of great sacrifices. May God bless all our men and women in uniform and may God bless America.
